Report right whale sightings
If you see a right whale, please report the sighting immediately by calling one of the following numbers.
U.S. Coast Guard on marine VHF Ch. 16

(volunteer sighting network maintained by Blue World Research Institute)
Please be prepared to provide the following information:
accurate time and location (e.g. GPS)
description of the sighting (how many whales, etc.)
Which way are the whales swimming
Take Pictures/Video if possible
Work with Government Officials
Let your representatives know you support the slow down areas along the coast of FL durning calving season. FL has a 10 knot "no wake" for manatees let's do the same for whales.
